You can apply a numeric format to one or more selected columns of data in the active data window.
Step 1
Select the columns you want to modify.
Step 2
Choose Numeric Format (Cmd-F) from the Options menu.
Step 3
On the left side of the dialog, click the button that corresponds to the format type you want to use.
Step 4
On the right side of the dialog, select the format you want to apply to the data, then click OK.
Note: All numeric formats (including custom formats) used in a data window are saved when you save the graph file.
Applying a Numeric Format to a Graph
In a graph object, a numeric format can be applied to one or more selected components that support numeric formats: tick labels, value labels, curve fit equations, and QC limit labels.
Step 1
Select a tick label, value label, curve fit equation, or QC limit label and choose Numeric Format (Options menu).
• For tick labels and value labels, you can also double-click the label, then click the Numeric Format button in the dialog that appears.
Step 2
On the left side of the Numeric Format dialog, click the button that corresponds to the format type you want to use.
Step 3
On the right side of the dialog, select the format you want to apply to the data, then click OK.
Note: All numeric formats (including custom formats) used in a graph window are saved when you save the data file.
